Nueva Sol is a monthly social dedicated to cultivating a welcoming space for Latin social dance within the local community. Nueva Sol bridges generations and experience levels, honoring tradition while inviting continued evolution. Created as an intentional alternative to the nightclub scene, Nueva Sol begins during the day.

NorCal Jack and Jill
In February 2026, Amanda Marquez and Michelle Castro hosted the inaugural NorCal Jack and Jill, a high-energy Salsa social dance competition where partners are paired through a blind draw, creating fresh connections and dance floor full of surprises. For more information, follow us on Instagram.
Proyecto Mambo
Proyecto Mambo is an adult performance team committed to training in the wide diaspora of Latin dance in a pre-professional, stage‑ready environment. The project brings together dancers of diverse ages, backgrounds, and experience levels who share a passion for social dance, technical refinement, and cross‑training in jazz, contemporary, and ballet styles. The company is committed to pushing artistic boundaries while honoring the cultural origins of the dance. The team performs at major Latin dance events throughout the Bay Area, including San Francisco’s largest festivals, as well as local and community showcases.
Workshops
Amanda’s workshops offer a supportive space where dancers deepen technique, artistry, and stage presence through guided exploration. Dancers are invited to engage deeply with music, movement, and storytelling, cultivating presence, intention, and confidence over time. Offered as open‑level progressive series or masterclasses, the work spans Latin jazz, contemporary, and ballet.

DNA Productions is a professional performance and production company, created to bring high‑level dance artistry into corporate, private, and curated event spaces.
Rooted in decades of professional training and industry experience, DNA offers polished, dynamic performances with intention, excellence, and authenticity. Each production is thoughtfully curated — blending storytelling and presence — to provide an elevated experience.
Mentorship
The mentorship program exists to support dancers who benefit from deeper guidance across physical, relational, and professional skillsets — particularly those who may not have access to formal dance programs or private training. Support may include monetary or in-kind donations for resources such as dance shoes, costumes, or monthly tuition.
